On a stormy night Inspector Bucket recieves a visit from Helen Stoner - step daughter of the king of the mystics - Doctor Grimsby Deadwood. Concerned over the mysterious death of her sister, and concerned for her own welfare, Helen turns to Inspector Bucket and his sidekick, Doctor Brush for help. In his bid to solve the mystery, Inpector Bucket suddenly finds himself implicated. Will his friends be able to save him?
