DIRECTOR

The Director’s role is to audition and cast actors and assemble and oversee the production team.  They provide design directives; lead rehearsals; and manage the production schedule of the play, ensuring that all the moving parts connect.  This is a role usually undertaken by experienced members of the group.  The Director’s word is final on all things to do with a production – whether that’s acting or backstage although it is acceptable to have discussions and offer feedback and suggestions.

The role of the director is pivotal to the whole production.  So, if you feel that this is where your passion lies, we will endeavour to help you through, nurturing and mentoring within a small group or on a one-to-one basis.
